- Despite what they so often want to convince us, both me personally and people with a conservative worldview, it is we who are modern - said Karol Nawrocki in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.

- We are the modern ones, because contemporaneity, the present and the future are not equal to the negation of the values we serve and to which we are attached, the foundations of Christianity, which builds responsibility for our national community - he continued.

- After all, there is also a very important element of Christianity that builds the foundation of a common European Union, along with Roman law and Greek culture. No one asks whether attachment to values is anti-modern. It is people full of values, people aware of the values to which they are attached, who are modern - he went on to say.

- Post-communism and references to ideologies that destroyed this world throughout the 20th century are not modern. Just as communism was not modern, post-communism cannot be modern and is already a relic of the past - he added.
