Today We Talk About Soaring Prices.
Today we are launching a week-long series during which we will discuss various aspects of this current period, the last year, aspects that do not inspire optimism, because it has indeed been a very bad year for Poland, and this must be told to the public, which to a significant extent, one could even say a great extent, considering the media advantage of the other side, is under the influence of various kinds of false information, under the influence of something that truly resembles the PRL, times that seemed to be in the past - stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
Today we talk about soaring prices, the financial situation. These soaring prices are not a result of some objective situation; they are a result of policy. On one hand, it's extremely inept policy; this team and this formation that is currently in power, broadly understood, cannot govern. But it is also a result of a conviction that seems to be increasingly entrenched in the minds of those in power: that if you have a media advantage, if you can use the prosecution, the special services, then you can simply disregard society, its standard of living, what interests citizens most on a daily basis. And hence decisions like the complete or large-scale elimination of shields that protected Polish citizens from the effects of the international, global crisis - he continued.
Everything is lacking, from healthcare to the aforementioned shields. There is simply no money and there will be no money – this was once stated by Minister Rostowski, and one can say that this principle has returned, it has returned at the expense of the citizens - he added.
