- I am the incumbent president and I will no longer run a campaign, I am saying that from the outset. I am not eligible to run for a third term [...], so I will absolutely not conduct any campaign - said President Andrzej Duda at a press briefing. - I met with Chairman Karol Nawrocki and congratulated him on his nomination. The meeting took place at his request, by the way - he continued. - As a presidential candidate, he promotes ideas and has ideals that are close to my heart. In this regard, I suppose no one has any doubts - he indicated. - We have participated in many ceremonies together. […] There are many such events in which we participate together. We will probably also jointly honor the victims of martial law soon. These are important topics for us from the perspective of Polish memory and Polish historical truth as well - he continued. - Of course, we talked about the election campaign, which is slowly but unofficially starting, […].
