Tusk announces decision on energy price freeze:
Electricity won't get more expensive.
- I am very pleased that we will be able to adopt a decision today to freeze energy prices for households in Poland for next year - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said before the government meeting.
- Electricity in Polish homes will not become more expensive in 2025. We are freezing energy prices for 9 months - he stated.
As he added: - During this time, in line with what we are proposing in our bill, tariffs should be reduced. So it is not impossible that further freezing will not be necessary. But if it is necessary, we will also consider it.
