Unfortunately, today I cannot inform you that the European Peace Facility has been unblocked, because it is still vetoed by the Hungarian side, despite the fact that a mechanism has been created whereby Hungarian money would not have to go towards aid for Ukraine. I would like to understand the reasons why Hungary does not want to help the fighting Ukraine and wants to favour the aggressor in this conflict - stated Radosław Sikorski in a conversation with journalists in Brussels. - I have previously appealed to our opposition to persuade their political partners, Prime Minister Orban and the Fidesz party, to change their stance and unblock this fund, from which Poland is entitled to PLN 2 billion for the modernization of the Polish Army. I hope that President Duda will be more influential with his friend Donald Trump than PiS has been with Viktor Orban so far - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued.
