- I assure you that I have had a formed opinion on Antoni Macierewicz's activities for many years, dating back to the way the military intelligence services were liquidated, and in recent days we have learned about his deceptions related to the investigation of the Smolensk crash. This is not a person who should be a recipient of the Order of the White Eagle – stated Radosław Sikorski at a press conference.

- What outraged me when I was his superior and prompted me to submit a motion for his dismissal from the position of Deputy Minister of National Defence were the scandalous procedures concerning classified documents, but also later the presentation of the report on the liquidation of WSI in such a way that contact with agents was lost, and people were put in danger – he continued.

- Patriotic cooperation with the special services of a free Poland was revealed, and current intelligence operations were disclosed, which affected and continues to affect our cooperation with allied countries. These are scandalous, unacceptable behaviours. If Macierewicz were a Russian agent, he couldn't do a better job – he added.
