The true goal of the subcommittee's actions, after analyzing this report, this is how I assess it, was to confirm only one hypothesis about the explosion and to reject all other arguments and expert opinions that did not confirm this hypothesis. So, this goal was strictly defined from the beginning: not to explain the catastrophe, but to confirm one's own hypothesis – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

The strategic goal, in this substantive aspect, was to confirm the explosion, and the political goal was to further build social division and destroy national community, sowing lies and falsehoods.
