Left-Wing Ministers Oppose Migration Strategy: 'Prime Minister Refused to Include Constitutional Compliance'
- It was adopted with dissenting opinions from four constitutional ministers from the Left. The Prime Minister did not agree to our amendments concerning, among other things, the inclusion of constitutional compliance in the strategy - stated Anna Maria Żukowska, commenting on Donald Tusk's post regarding the adoption of the migration strategy.
As she emphasized: - Regarding planned legislation, our stance will remain the same.
- The government's migration strategy document is good in 90%: protection of the labor market, repatriation, fight against visa fraud, increased control. However, one section, concerning the unconstitutional prevention of even applying for asylum, is unacceptable - explained the head of the Left parliamentary club.
