During an open meeting in Zambrów, one of the participants asked Szymon Hołownia when passenger rail service would return to Łomża.

- Yes, I heard. Yes, we are beating ourselves up about it. Because this should have progressed faster, even if not the tracks and train yet, then at least an announcement about what is happening with it - replied the leader of Poland 2050.

Then, MP from the region, Żaneta Cwalina-Śliwowska, informed that last week in Ostrołęka, a meeting took place with Deputy Minister Piotr Malepszak. The Ostrołęka-Śniadowo-Łomża line is to be modernized by the end of 2026, the Tłuszcz-Ostrołęka line by the end of 2027, and the Łomża station is being designed in the city center.

- Things are happening, and we don't know how to communicate them. We don't know how to approach people and say: listen, this is how it should be, and this is what we are doing. This is also the pain that - I will say it directly - we do not have a government press spokesperson, who should work with journalists daily and show how many things have already been achieved - commented Hołownia.
