As you can see, there is no question of our distraction. Meaning, each of us would like, I would like to be able to solemnly announce the end of the flood today on this Saturday, and indeed these threats are decreasing, but the flood wave is still above alarm levels in West Pomerania, and we still have to wait a few days for the levels everywhere to stabilize below alarm levels – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the government session. - We can responsibly say that there are no threats comparable to what happened two weeks ago, ten days ago in Opole and Lower Silesia on the Oder River. However, due to this still very high, long flood wave, the pressure on the embankments means these embankments have to withstand much more than ever predicted, so let’s still be cautious with optimistic, final messages – said the head of government.
