We Want to Redirect Several Billion Euros.
A very large portion of European funds is to be redirected to aid flood victims; this amounts to several billion zlotys, representing truly substantial resources. This redirection is tied to very specific procedures determined by Poland's cooperation with the European Commission. Our intention within this special act is to introduce solutions that will shorten this process – stated Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz in the program "Graffiti" on Polsat News.
What needs to be done? Primarily, we need to shorten the process of going through all consultations via the path in the Council of Ministers. We need to ensure that decisions are, of course, made by the Council of Ministers, but without such a protracted decision-making path. Naturally, consultations are also necessary in the public sphere; this is important – she added.
