- Three days ago, I asked the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to visit Wrocław in connection with the dramatic flood that has struck our country. As I was in constant contact with our friends: the Chancellor of Austria, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and Slovakia [...], [I asked] that we use this moment, here in Wrocław, this brief moment for a joint meeting in connection with the need for reconstruction - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference in Wrocław. - This is, of course, about support from the European Union and financial support. [...] We needed exactly 45 minutes to agree on our expectations and to obtain declarations from the European Commission that satisfy us - the head of government stated.
