Crisis Management Taken Over from Mayors: Prime Minister Announces Decision Regarding Stronie and Lądek
- Brigadier General Michał Kamieniecki has taken over crisis management from the mayors of Stronie and Lądek - Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced.
- Additional military units are arriving in both municipalities. In Stronie itself, there are already over 600 - he added.
As Jan Grabiec further informed: - Tomasz Siemoniak, at the request of the Prime Minister, based on Article 13 of the Crisis Management Act, has made a decision to strengthen the actions of the local governments of Stronie Śląskie and Lądek Zdrój in removing the effects of the flood. The plenipotentiary of the Ministry of Interior and Administration – a fire brigade general experienced in removing flood effects in 2010 – will take over the duties of the mayors in the scope of crisis management.
