Kosiniak-Kamysz:
Constitutional Amendment Proposals to be Presented in the Coming Days
- Regarding the Constitutional Tribunal, I am in favor of changing the Constitution, and we will propose such a constitutional change, stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Polsat News' "Graffiti".
- Together with PiS?, asked Marcin Fijołek.
- It cannot be done otherwise. [...] If someone says: fix the justice system, it cannot be done without changing the Constitution. Today we are in such a deadlock; the Constitutional Tribunal was the original sin, the Deputy Prime Minister replied.
When pressed on when the proposals for constitutional changes would be presented, he responded: - I think it's a matter of the coming days. I will not be presenting them, so I would not want to preempt Minister Bodnar, as he is directly responsible for it.
- For us, for our political circle, the PSL, it is very important to present a comprehensive project for changes and the repair of the justice system. Not just the National Council of the Judiciary, but let's start with the big issues, which is the Constitutional Tribunal. A resolution, a law, but also, above all, a change to the Constitution, Kosiniak-Kamysz added.
