Pekao Analysts: Little Fiscal Room Left for Electoral Promises
Spending ambitions are high. Tax revenues are low. Debt can be incurred, but at a high cost. There is little fiscal room left for electoral promises - wrote Bank Pekao analysts.

What were the sources of our optimism? History. Previous years have accustomed us to the fact that the Ministry of Finance (@MF_GOV_PL) usually assumes a fairly large deficit, but then does not implement it. Money was always found somehow. It turns out that in 2023 it won't be found and the deficit will be large: around PLN 92 billion. 3/9
