- The world today needs bold and visionary leaders again! Such a leader was the late President of Poland, Lech Kaczyński, with whom I had the honor of working. For the first time in a long time, Russians showed the face we have known for hundreds of years. They believe that the nations around them should be subordinate to them. We say no! Russia believes that the times of the empire, which collapsed less than 20 years ago, are returning. That dominance will again be a feature of this region. Well, it will not. - Yes. Today, right here, at the United Nations headquarters, I want to repeat this: those times must never return! The logic of conquest, of changing borders by force, of disregarding the law, and of denying the Ukrainian nation the right to exist must be stopped! This brutal war must end, not be frozen! This can only be achieved by restoring Ukraine's full territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders! - he added.
