Skiba from Pekao: The Zloty Guarantees Stability. It is Important to Make Strategic Decisions Locally, When Financial Institutions Have Polish Owners
- Financial security includes, among other things, having your own currency. The zloty is a guarantor of Poland's stability. It is also important to make strategic decisions locally, in our country, which is possible when, for example, financial institutions have Polish owners – said Pekao CEO Leszek Skiba during the Krynica Forum.
- In recent years, the level of foreign investment in Poland has fluctuated between 3% and 4% of GDP. If we look at historical data, after 2008 this level was lower. It amounted to 1-2%. This shows that Poland is currently a much more attractive country for investors – continued Pekao CEO Skiba during the Krynica Forum.
