"From the perspective of recent years in Poland, very effective tax sealing has been achieved. VAT revenues have significantly increased relative to GDP compared to other countries. We are therefore dealing with a situation where the room for new spending, such as defense, social equalization – 500+, or tax reductions, is – said Leszek Skiba, President of Bank Pekao S.A., during the panel "Financial Security in the New Geopolitical Reality – Determinants, Opportunities, Challenges," at the Krynica Forum 2023.
