Another Spot in the Local Campaign. Deputy Head of MAP Andrzej Śliwka: "I Promise I Will Work Hard Every Day"
Individual campaign spots at the electoral district level are beginning to appear. These initial spots primarily serve as "calling cards" to introduce candidates to voters.
"I was born here, this is my place on earth. Why do I want to win these elections? Out of love for our region. I want there to be jobs, development, and security here. I want the dreams, plans, and aspirations of every resident to be fulfilled here. Our region deserves it” - says Andrzej Śliwka, Deputy Head of the Ministry of State Assets, running from third place on the PiS list in Elbląg.
The spot showcases the most characteristic landmarks of Elbląg and the region, including the Vistula Spit canal, the newly built Fire Brigade headquarters, and military ceremonies at a developing unit.
"I promise I will work hard every day” - Śliwka states in the spot.
Radio ZET reported that in many cases, during parliamentary elections, PiS is "testing" future candidates for the mayors of larger cities. Śliwka is among those being considered for Elbląg. According to Radio ZET's findings, PiS has designated the following to compete for mayoral seats: in Lublin, MP and former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Sylwester Tułajew; in Białystok, the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship Artur Kosicki; and in Lubin, the Head of the Prime Minister's Political Cabinet Krzysztof Kubów. Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk, a Polish sabre fencer, world and European champion, and former soldier, is slated to be PiS's candidate for Mayor of Warsaw.
