President Duda on Meeting with the Pope: We Talked About How Every Person, Within Their Capabilities, Can Strive to Act to Always and Everywhere Pursue Peace. This Idea Also Guides My Decisions
President Andrzej Duda shared details of his meeting with Pope Francis on his Twitter account.
“We talked about how every person, within their capabilities, can strive to act to always and everywhere pursue peace. This idea also guides my decisions,” the President wrote.
The Head of State also published a photo from the meeting in the Vatican. Duda was accompanied by his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda.
The meeting took place on September 25, 2020, during President Duda’s visit to Italy. The President was in Rome for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Solidarity movement. During his visit, he also met with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and President of the Council of Ministers Giuseppe Conte.
