According to a source for 300POLITYKI, an agreement within the United Right is effectively reached, and the matter is to be finalized by the end of the week. The current plan is for the reconstruction to take place as early as next week.

The PiS chairman is set to become Deputy Prime Minister and will head the Committee for Internal Affairs, Justice, and National Defence. However, this will require an amendment to the act on government departments. The Sejm convenes at the beginning of October, so the new law could come into effect as early as November – if the Senate utilizes its 30-day period to consider the amendment.

Our interlocutor also refers to Błażej Spychalski's statement to Polsat News today regarding consultations and presidential approval. "With all due respect, but the chairman does not need the president's consent to become Deputy Prime Minister," he says, recalling the provisions of the Constitution.
