- We've been conducting painstaking negotiations for two weeks, aimed at a government reconstruction. They collapsed yesterday following votes on an issue we cared about. Our coalition partners either voted against it or abstained. And of course, consequences must be drawn from this. It appears, and let's not pre-judge, as various things are possible in politics and much can still happen, but the situation now is that the coalition practically doesn't exist, and the consequences of this will naturally extend to government positions as well – stated Ryszard Terlecki in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.
