We Recovered 83% of Ballot Packages from Poles Abroad. This is a Very Good Result and System Efficiency. In 2015, the Return Rate was 66%
„We are seeing a significant increase in the number of Poles participating in elections. We are very pleased about this. It shows that Poles living abroad feel a connection to Poland, are aware of their belonging to Polish society, and exercise their rights. In this situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' task is to ensure that Poles living abroad can exercise their constitutional rights, i.e., participate in elections” - Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said at a press conference.
„We sent out ballot packages - 480,000 packages. Of these, we received back exactly 399,360 envelopes, which constitutes 83%. This is a very good result. We were surprised by such a good outcome, such a positive response from Poles, as well as the efficiency of the system. In 2015, this return rate was 66%, which is a significant increase” - he added.
