„In the Czech Republic, it was indeed bought by private capital [media]. In Poland, it can also only be bought by private capital. We are counting on such a process to take place. We live within certain limitations, sometimes political, sometimes legal. Simply put, another mechanism is impossible. It's only about a certain determination that would lead to this, and it will certainly not be a process that happens overnight, so that the situation in the media changes very clearly, regarding the ownership of these media. The same applies to TVN. I have no doubts about where TVN came from. If the gentleman who called thinks that nationalization of TVN can be carried out for this reason, he is mistaken. It cannot be done – that's the first thing – and secondly, we are not interested. We do not want to control the media. We just don't want decisions to be made outside Poland, such as 'we support this presidential candidate, and we simply destroy the one who, from our point of view, is worse or bad, using the most shameful methods” – said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.
