- Today, a few hours ago, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki put forward a motion for a vote of confidence for the United Right government in the Sejm. He submitted this motion because I proposed it to him. I decided that those who want these good changes in Poland to stop, for Poland to cease developing, those who want to halt major investments, those who previously said Poland couldn't afford 500 plus, that Poland couldn't afford social programs, those who allowed us to be robbed annually of 50 billion [zloty] in VAT completely with impunity and where did that money disappear to? These people today say they will govern Poland better. Even though they couldn't govern it for the ordinary citizen for eight years and plunged many people into misery, for instance, by taking funds from the Solidarity Fund when the crisis hit in 2008. How could such a policy be pursued, against the people, only to later raise their retirement age, against protests? How dare they speak of solidarity today, when they were the greatest enemies of solidarity then and when "Solidarity" protested against them? How dare they say such things today. Ladies and gentlemen, the United Right government received a vote of confidence - said President Andrzej Duda in Chełm.
