You see the police grabbing a woman who is sitting at a protest in front of Trójka, prosecutors who are paralyzed by who knows what concerning Minister Szumowski’s affairs, and now we have the Supreme Court, whose First President will be a Deputy Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro's deputy from 2007. So, the arrangement is becoming a closed one. How can one ignore the will of judges of an independent court, the most important court in Poland, and make one's own political choices and calculations? As President of the Republic of Poland, immediately after taking office, I should request all documents related to this nomination and seriously verify it” - said presidential candidate Szymon Hołownia at a press conference.
