Budka:

- There is the Electoral Code, which is binding. There is the Constitution, which is binding. The new law has nothing to do with it. Today, Marshal Witek is committing a constitutional offense by not announcing the elections. What if the law [on elections] is not adopted? What if the Sejm rejects it together with the Senate? The execution of a constitutional obligation cannot be made dependent on future law. As of today, the Electoral Code and the Constitution are binding, and the fact that the Sejm, with a parliamentary majority, has mindlessly adopted absurd solutions is absolutely no impetus for the Senate to act in the same way. The Constitution clearly states: the Senate has 30 days to consider a bill - stated Borys Budka on the program "Wydarzenia i opinie" on Polsat News.
