Trzaskowski:

Warsaw's Revenue Shortfall Will Be Significant, Potentially Reaching 2 Billion Zloty

"The situation of local governments is very difficult. We are currently on the front lines. Regarding local government finances, they were already in a tough spot before the coronavirus due to government reforms implemented using local government funds, and also because of the rising costs of waste management, as this market was severely disrupted by government laws. However, we currently estimate that for Warsaw, the revenue shortfall will be very significant, potentially reaching 2 billion zloty," said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, at a press conference.
