- This is a matter of real choices and responsibility, in the sense of an alternative. I am very saddened by the opposition's stance, which, without truly engaging with the analysis of our proposal [constitutional changes], without waiting for the authorities' opinions, and without bothering to contact us to hear our justification for this proposal, has criticized it on principle, politically. In this context, I wonder if my morning declaration that we would vote against this solution, tested in Bavaria, was premature, given that in such a situation, the real alternatives, the tools available to the Council of Ministers, are the May 10 elections, which will take place either based on the existing electoral law or on an electoral law that is significantly more secure. Above all, I appeal to the opposition for responsibility. Esteemed opposition, you have the tools. We have put tools on the table for you. Our bill, coupled with PiS's declaration that they will support this bill, leaves the decision-making power with the opposition.
