„Elections are a very important element. Elections ensure the continuity of state power, they are very significant. The Constitution defines the presidential term. It clearly and plainly states that the term is five years. The elections have been scheduled. None of us know what will happen on May 10th, which is in a month and a half. No one can determine that. I hope that after the holidays the situation here will calm down and we will be able to return to normal life. I hope conditions for elections will exist, but if it turns out that the epidemic is raging and we have to maintain discipline and restrictions as they are now all the time, then I think this election date may prove untenable. I am counting on these elections being conducted calmly.
