I have decided to contact the Marshal of the Sejm today as soon as possible to convene a Sejm session, so that the government can provide information to the public, not just the Sejm, at a regular, open session about the current situation regarding the spreading epidemic of illnesses caused by coronavirus in Europe, not in Poland. The government should also inform us about the actions taken and how we are protecting Poles to ensure that, should such a situation arise, the virus affects our country, and above all, us, to the least extent possible," stated President Andrzej Duda at a briefing at the National Security Bureau (BBN).
