- Yesterday, we watched, we witnessed a very important event. President Duda signing the 13th pension law. This is a law that secures the stability of 13th pension payments in the coming years. The government announced very intensive work on the 14th pension, which is to be paid out starting next year. But I want to share with you my observations from the legislative process concerning the 13th pension. Namely, senators from Civic Platform, the Senate majority, introduced amendments that effectively made the payment of 13th pensions impossible. Fortunately, we have a majority in the Sejm, and these bad, unfavorable amendments were rejected. I appeal to Marshal Kidawa-Błońska to turn to Marshal Grodzki and the Senate majority so that this situation is not repeated during the proceedings of the 14th pension for almost 10 million Poles. Poles are waiting for this, they are waiting for the 14th pension. I very much ask, I repeat the appeal to the Marshal to turn to the Senate majority with an appeal, with a request not to block this important law, awaited by Poles, although the Marshal is known for her reluctance towards social programs - stated Stanisław Karczewski at a press briefing.
