Schetyna on PO Leadership Election: I Thought Pushing My Candidacy During Presidential Elections Didn't Make Sense. I Was Very Likely to Win. But the Style, Method, and State of the Platform Wouldn't Be Good
„Democratic elections have enormous value. This is not common in Polish politics. I talked a lot with MPs, senators, and PO activists. These were very difficult 4 years, also for me, taking the Platform out of a difficult and weak, I don't want to say fatal, state” - said outgoing PO leader Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on Poranek Radia TOK FM.
„We won the Senate elections. We didn't win the Sejm elections. I thought that pushing my candidacy during the presidential elections didn't make sense. I was very likely to win these elections. But the style, method, and state of the Platform wouldn't be good” - he added.
