Karczewski on Judicial Reforms: I am Convinced of Our Rightness. Voters I Meet Often Also Reassure Me.

Michał Olech

Dialogue is needed, and I think this dialogue will be undertaken and, above all, that we are right [about the changes in the justice system]. That is the most important thing. I am convinced of our rightness. Voters I often meet also reassure me. I can't say every single day, because today we have a Senate session and I won't be meeting voters today, but we meet and talk very often. I would even say that just yesterday, on the street, several people approached me. There were opponents too, but the vast majority are people who say they are keeping their fingers crossed, that they strongly want these changes to be implemented, that we should not go backward. We have social support, and this is exactly what is written in the Constitution: that a parliament elected in democratic elections, i.e., the sovereign, so everything is in order, in a logical sequence. Therefore, I am very surprised that the European institution is limiting - stated Stanisław Karczewski in an interview with Paweł Lisicki on "Trójka's Political Salon".
