President Duda Dismisses Fears Over Minimum Wage Hike, Citing Past Successes with Social Programs
„As people get older, they are told various things, like if the minimum wage is raised to 4,000 [zlotys], people will be fired. Ladies and gentlemen, do not listen to this nonsense. We have ambitious plans, but above all, we focus on people. For me, the most important thing is the human being” - said President Andrzej Duda in Biłgoraj.
„It was said that 500+ could not be paid out, that people's living conditions could not be improved, that nothing could be done. And what? It was possible to introduce 500+” - he added.
