Kantar asked respondents who they would vote for in a potential second round of presidential elections. The incumbent president wins in every scenario, but the poll indicates that Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska would be the toughest rival for Andrzej Duda. The recent Civic Coalition candidate for Prime Minister would secure 42% of the votes in a runoff, while PAD would receive 48%.
In another scenario, Donald Tusk would get 40% of the votes, and Andrzej Duda – 51%. If Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz were to run, 38% would vote for the PSL leader, and 53% for Andrzej Duda. Rafał Trzaskowski, on the other hand, would gain 37%, and PAD – 52%. Robert Biedroń would achieve 35%, and PAD – 56%.
The Kantar telephone poll for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24 was conducted on October 17-18 on a national representative sample of Poles aged over 18. The sample size was 1502 people. The margin of error is 3%.
