- The Senate is, of course, an element of the legislative process, but the main burden lies with the Sejm. Senators can propose amendments to laws, and essentially that's what we would expect from them. However, I fear we will face rather destructive actions from the opposition and a slowing down of the legislative process. Although we still have a sliver of hope that this can be avoided, and that our opponents appealed so much throughout the campaign for agreement and for quieting down disputes, perhaps the Senate, in a situation where there is practically a balance there, will be a good experimental ground – stated Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Paweł Lisicki on "Salony polityczny Trójki" (Trójka's Political Salon).
