I am convinced that Jurek will cope with these new duties. He is a one-man band. Not only European funds, but also bridge construction, business, entrepreneurship, the World Bank, finance, so vast experience in this field. And since he comes from Stalowa Wola, I hope he will have a steel will and nerves of steel in the fight against VAT mafias, because we cannot turn a blind eye here even for a moment. These various tax criminals are not sleeping, and this is the root cause of our economic success, that we managed to effectively introduce certain tools in the Ministry of Finance, both IT, organizational, and administrative, which were able to very effectively deal with VAT mafias, tax criminals, and not only in the VAT area - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the Presidential Palace.
