- Now we can only wait for the Constitutional Tribunal's decision. Certainly without undue delay, but not hastily, I will want to forward this position to the legislative committee as soon as possible, because according to procedure, I must seek the legislative committee's opinion. As far as I know, the committee is scheduled to meet on August 29 - stated Elżbieta Witek in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.
Asked whether she would wait to publish the lists of support for KRS candidates until the Constitutional Tribunal's verdict, the Marshal of the Sejm replied: - Well, at this moment, in my opinion, I have no other choice, because the case is before the Constitutional Tribunal and the President of the Constitutional Tribunal has sent me a letter requesting me to submit a statement on this matter within 30 days.
