Civic Platform: It's evident this new government is quickly stepping into the shoes of its PRL-era predecessors. It's unheard of for Marshal Karczewski to reside in a villa belonging to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

- For Madam Marshal Witek, we have a request that at the next Sejm session, we can address the frozen bill concerning the return of illegally granted awards. The second issue and the second bill is the 'clean hands' bill - said Mariusz Witczak during a press conference in the Sejm. - It's clear that this new government has settled into state positions, including in State Treasury companies. They are very quickly stepping into the shoes of their PRL-era predecessors. They are very quickly becoming accustomed to enjoying the luxuries of state property. They treat this property as their own. We know that villas are appropriately equipped to properly receive foreign guests. There is cleaning staff, there is catering staff. These are special accommodations intended to properly serve the representation of the Polish state, not the politicians of the ruling party. This should not be the case, and it hasn't been this way until now. It's unheard of for Marshal Karczewski to reside in a villa belonging to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister - added Jan Grabiec.
