– [Civil unions] are part of our program. It's a commitment of ours. It's an issue that should have been resolved in Poland long ago. If we look at European standards, it's clear that this is simply a matter… Such a simple thing. Let's be precise. Civil unions concern both same-sex and opposite-sex couples. Let's note that, for example, in France, 80% are opposite-sex unions. In Poland, about 24% of children are born into informal unions. This is also an opportunity for such couples to simplify the regulation of their legal situation – stated Katarzyna Lubnauer in a conversation with Paweł Lisiecki on „Salon polityczny Trójki”.
