Senate Session Today marks the second day of the Senate session. The upper house will resume its proceedings at 10:00 AM. The agenda includes, among other items, the consideration of the government's draft bill on special rules for the preparation and implementation of strategic and key investments for state defense and public security needs, and the establishment of protection zones for certain restricted areas, as well as hearing information on the activities of the National Council of the Judiciary in 2024 and information on significant issues arising from the activities and jurisprudence of the Constitutional Tribunal in 2022 and 2023. Ministerial Activities At 9:00 AM in Zielona Góra, a press briefing by Minister Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz will commence. The topic will be opportunities for supporting projects with European funds for entrepreneurs from the Lubusz Voivodeship. At 10:00 AM at the 6th Logistic Battalion in Krakow, the Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will participate in a ceremony for the handover of duties of the Commander of the 6th Airborne Brigade. Subsequently, at 2:00 PM, a formal handover of duties of the Commander of the Special Troops Component will take place at the headquarters of the Special Troops Component Command in Krakow, also with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister. PiS Conferences At 9:00 AM in the Sejm, a conference will be held by the head of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, and MP Zbigniew Kuźmiuk. At 11:00 AM, a press conference is scheduled at the PiS headquarters with the party's vice-chairman, Mateusz Morawiecki, and MEPs Piotr Müller and Waldemar Buda.
