As 300POLITYKA learns, today at 13:00 Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, in the presence of young people, will announce the launch of the 0% PIT program for young people, which the government will address at its 10:00 session. Representatives of youth organizations and associations will be invited to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister will also participate in a Q&A session, and additionally, the #PlanDlaMlodych will be announced. Our interlocutors emphasize that the Prime Minister wants youth organizations from a broad spectrum to present proposals for changes and implementations in various areas, including ecology, taxes, science, work, and digitalization, throughout the summer period. A working group is to be established, which, under the leadership of government spokesperson Piotr Müller, will develop draft changes.
Furthermore, for the autumn, the government side announces a Congress for Youth, which is intended to be a forum for the exchange of thoughts and ideas. The project concerning zero PIT, after its adoption by the Council of Ministers, will be sent to the Sejm. The government wants the act to come into force from August 1 - as Michał Dworczyk mentioned yesterday - so the Sejm will have to adopt the act at one of its two July sessions.
