Since midnight, an election silence is in effect across the entire country ahead of the elections for Members of the European Parliament.

Polling stations will open on Sunday at 7 AM. Nearly 30 million eligible voters will collectively choose 52 representatives who will serve as the country's representatives in the European Parliament for the next 5 years.

Polling stations will close on Sunday at 9 PM, at which time we should also expect the first exit poll results of the election.
