Dworczyk:

Teachers' Strike is Becoming Radicalized in Places. If We See Slogans Like 'Only Pigs Supervise Exams', and Teachers Who Stayed with Children are Being Hated, This is Heading in the Wrong Direction

Michał Olech

Indeed, we are observing some surprising trends concerning teachers, because striking, like any professional group, teachers have the right to strike, but the strike is becoming radicalized in places. If we see slogans like 'Only pigs supervise exams', if teachers, and these are not isolated cases, who have stayed with the children, who are conducting exams, are somehow – to put it colloquially – being hated or put under pressure, then this is heading in the wrong direction. I know this is a margin, fortunately, because the majority of teachers prioritize children, the good of children. Nevertheless, such cases do occur, and we must appeal to ZNP [Polish Teachers' Union] so that the union's activists do not radicalize sentiments and so that we can work together towards an agreement – stated Michał Dworczyk in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.
