„We are facing the biggest crisis in education since 1993. The Polish government plays a disreputable role, disregarding teachers, education, and the serious problems of Polish schools. It is conducting negotiations with teachers without meeting even the minimum standards of negotiation, and without presenting any proposals to the teachers. These negotiations have more breaks than actual conversations with teachers. This has led to this crisis. The government's ideas do not reflect the authentic situation in education; they only cause this crisis to grow larger” - said Krystyna Szumilas from Civic Platform (PO) at a press conference in the Sejm.
