I Voted 'For' the Directive. Boni: I'm Very Sorry That the Voices of So Many European Citizens Were Not Taken into Account
- I am not familiar with the course of the vote. Personally, I voted 'for', and what's more, I worked on this directive from the very beginning. It, as you know very well, was handled by the legal committee of the European Parliament, of which I had the honour of being a member 15 years ago - stated Tadeusz Zwiefka at a briefing in the EP.
Meanwhile, another PO MEP, Michał Boni, wrote: - We failed to remove Article 13 from the final text of the directive. I am very sorry that the voices of so many European citizens were not taken into account.
