The European Parliament will vote on the directive on copyright in the Digital Single Market, known as ACTA2. This will be the final vote on the directive, which, according to a growing number of critics, will introduce de facto internet censorship. The voting block in the European Parliament will begin at 12:30 PM and last until 2:30 PM.
At 12:00 PM, the VAT investigative committee will question Jerzy Martini, a former member of the Tax Law Consultative Council at the Ministry of Finance.
The government session will commence at 10:00 AM, and ministers will address, among other matters, the regulations introducing a one-off benefit for pensioners and disability pensioners, the so-called "Emerytura Plus" (Pension Plus).
At noon, the Presidential Couple will participate in the third edition of the Summary of the "Action to Aid Poles in the East." At 3:35 PM, the President will visit a pharmaceutical plant in Wrocław, and at 5:30 PM, he will meet with the residents of Wołów.
At 4:30 PM, the parliamentary constitutional accountability committee will convene. The agenda includes the item "assessment of evidence collected in the case of the preliminary motion to bring the President of the Supreme Audit Office, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, to constitutional responsibility before the State Tribunal," as well as current affairs. The session will traditionally be closed to the media.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will examine today – at the initiative of the Commissioner for Human Rights – the first extraordinary appeal. The case concerns inheritance rulings within a farming family. The hearing begins at 1:00 PM.
