Czaputowicz after meeting with Pompeo: We share the stance that the Nord Stream 2 project does not serve Europe's energy security
- I welcomed the United States' commitment to the full implementation of the missile defense installation in Redzikowo. We also discussed energy security. We considered possibilities for further diversification of energy supplies, especially concerning the LNG terminal and gas supplies from the United States, as well as infrastructure expansion and technology development. We share the stance that the Nord Stream 2 project does not serve Europe's energy security. We consider it a misguided undertaking, even harmful to energy security on the continent - said Jacek Czaputowicz after a bilateral meeting attended by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
