“I have already been interrogated. I think it went very well and I am positively disposed. We all know, and it has been clearly demonstrated, that the VAT gap estimates are far from perfect. I will repeat this. They in no way show that the gap was higher under the PO-PSL governments than under the PiS governments” - said former Finance Minister Jan Vincent Rostowski in an interview with journalists in the Sejm before being interrogated by the VAT committee.

“The goal of the interrogation, and the entire commission, is purely political. A rather wide circle of advisors and friends of PiS MPs are earning quite well by being on this commission as advisors” - he added.
